Privacy Policy - Desenrola Brasil
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-25
This Privacy Policy describes how Desenrola Brasil ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Desenrola Brasil ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application. Desenrola Brasil is an informational and utility app that provides news, tips, schedules, and educational guidance about Brazil's "Desenrola Brasil" debt-renegotiation program, including a simulation tool to estimate possible discounts and installments.
Desenrola Brasil is an independent, informational, and unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Brazilian government, any bank, or any credit bureau. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy was last updated on May 25, 2026.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to operate and improve the app:
- Simulation inputs: When you use the negotiation simulator, you may enter a debt amount, the time the debt has been overdue, and your preferred payment method (lump sum or installments). We do not ask for your name, CPF, account numbers, or other directly identifying information.
- Device and technical data: Device model, operating system version, language and region settings, app version, unique device and installation identifiers, and network/connection information.
- Usage and diagnostic data: Screens viewed, features used, interactions within the app, crash reports, performance metrics, and session recordings/heatmaps used to understand how the app is used.
- Advertising identifiers: Advertising IDs (such as the Android Advertising ID and, on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers) used to deliver and measure advertising, subject to your consent where required.
- Purchase data: Information about in-app purchases or subscriptions, such as transaction and entitlement status, processed through the app store and our subscription provider.
- Locally stored preferences: Settings and preferences saved on your device to provide a consistent experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the app's core features, including news, tips, FAQs, schedules, and the debt-negotiation simulator.
- Generate estimated discounts and installment simulations based on the values you enter.
- Display and measure advertising and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Analyze usage, diagnose crashes, and improve the stability, performance, and content of the app.
- Send push notifications, where you have enabled them, about program updates and relevant information.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the app and prevent fraud and abuse.
AI-Powered Simulation
The negotiation simulator uses Google's Gemini generative AI to produce a more realistic estimate. When you run a simulation, the values you provide (debt amount, time overdue, payment method, and number of installments) are sent to Google's generative language service to generate the estimated result.
This data is not associated with your identity, and we do not transmit your name, CPF, or banking credentials. If the AI service is unavailable, the app falls back to a local estimate calculated on your device. All results are estimates for informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding offer; always confirm the actual terms directly with your creditor.
Advertising and Tracking
The app displays advertising through Google AdMob and uses advertising and analytics SDKs from Meta (Facebook) and TikTok to measure ad performance and attribution. These services may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, which may include personalized advertising.
- On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can change this choice at any time in your device settings.
- On Android, the app uses the Advertising ID. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device's Google settings.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device privacy settings.
